Doug Chasick, “That Fair Housing Guy”, and former President of The Fair Housing Institute, has more than 45 years of hands-on, supervisory, and executive experience in the retail and commercial property sector. As the President or CEO of five real estate companies, he has been responsible for the successful operation of portfolios of over 28,000 apartments, and more than 8 million square feet of commercial, retail, and industrial properties. His ability to connect with and inspire people has resulted in the growth and success of thousands of former staff members and students.

A member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) National Faculty for eight years, he is a Senior Instructor member of the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) Faculty and leads both the Advanced Facilitator Training and Virtual Facilitator Training workshops in addition to serving as a Subject Matter Expert in Fair Housing, Leadership, and Talent Development.

Doug is a co-author of the books “Outstanding Facilitation Techniques”, “The Apartment All Stars Complete Guide to Leasing Apartments” and “How to Excel in Leasing”, and a co-author of the NAAEI/IREM Course, “Fair Housing and Beyond”.

A licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida, he is also a licensed Expert Fair Housing Instructor in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the recipient of the NAAEI Apartment Career & Education (ACE) award.
